The story
Silhouette & shape
Jackie Ingram is a fashion designer, illustrator and entrepreneur originally born in Copenhagen, Denmark and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is graduating from Kent State University with a BA in Fashion Design, and her focus on silhouette and shape is part of what makes her signature style.
She is experienced across many practices in the industry, including design iteration, draping, garment construction, print design, and both stylized and technical illustration — moving fluidly between the conceptual and the technical.
Her work is done both in the studio and on the page. Garments are built with intent, and when illustrations are drawn, they give each collection a voice before a single seam is sewn.
